These exciting new courses are designed to offer a high-quality veterinary medicine learning experience combined with the fun and excitement of outdoor adventure. The combination of a small class size, outstanding faculty, and a “hands-on” style of learning make these expeditions an excellent choice for veterinary professionals who enjoy the outdoors or even the animal lover in all of us!
Course meets the requirements for 10 hours of continuing education credit in jurisdictions which recognize the AAVSB RACE approval; however participants should be aware that some boards have limitations on the number of hours accepted in certain categories and/or restrictions on certain methods of delivery of continuing education.
Current university students can earn 4 CE credits towards a Ecosystems Management course NLB 311 at the University of Pretoria on our South Africa expedition. (registration fees will apply)
These Veterinary Medicine journeys are off the beaten path and may include camping in tents or staying in primitive, rustic lodges and even home stays accompanied. You will be served delicious local fresh local cuisine. The hallmark of all our escorted trips is the level of camaraderie and friendly atmosphere you encounter while on them. You will be able to share perspectives with other students and faculty one-on-one and have opportunities to get to know local villagers.
By the end of these trips, you will probably have made some good friends as well as had lots of fun in an adventurer’s paradise while learning Veterinary Medicine.
